bohemea: Nicole Kidman accepting her Best Actress Oscar for The Hours, March 23rd 2003 This remains my favourite Oscar moment of the past decade. I love when she says Russell Crowe told her not to cry, I love when she turns around, so beautifully overwhelmed, & shows us her elegant neck, her speech was so lovely, sweet & sincere & her win so very well deserved. Perfect. And even more perfect, Nicole draped in that sheer rich black Gaultier gown. Winning awards & looking like a fierce fashion warrior while doing so, that’s my girl!
